How to embed attached images into post (instead of having it displayed all at bottom)

I hope that this is the testing section of the forum for posting pix.

How do I add my "Fuelly" signature? I have read the instructions, but have had no luck. It always says .. invalid file. It is a BB code. I have tried all 4 fuelly sigs. all fail.

Any suggestions? I have seen them here on the site, so I know others have been successful adding it.
