M3V8Driver wroteJust curious, is there a published increase in downforce with this spoiler? It doesn't appear much different than the OEM.
MJR63 wroteWhat is this Betalink-K1?If you use the BMW Betalink-K1 can your remove the spoiler like with the 3M tape after or is this permanent?
M3V8Driver wroteThe ZCP spoiler is angled higher then stock spoiler and at the high speed should increase the downforce.Just curious, is there a published increase in downforce with this spoiler? It doesn't appear much different than the OEM.
MJR63 wroteWhen you use BMW Betalink K1 or K2, the part can't be removed. That stuff if very strong. If you use the BMW Betalink-K1 can your remove the spoiler like with the 3M tape after or is this permanent?
330iTiAg wroteArkym diffuser and Akrapovic Exhaust. What diffuser and exhaust are those?
vinnycg wroteBetalink K1 is the special BMW glue and it doesn't come with the spoiler. What is this Betalink-K1?

Alekshop wroteThis is just what i was looking for! thank you, i will print this out and hand it to my guys. My spoiler came in today finally heading to get paintedTo Remove spoiler:
1. Clean the area
2. Use heat gun to heat it up (make sure not to damage the paint; do it in sections, 3-5 inches at a time)
3. Use fishing line to separate the spoiler form the trunk
4. Use 3M adhesive remover to clean the trunk
To install CF spoiler:
1. Use BMW Betalink-K1 (BMW pn 82-69-9-408-866)
2. Read directions
fe55 wroteYeah I used it but I'm almost running out of it. I will check if thinner will help and won't damage the rear lip.i think i used some of the solvent that came with the betalink to clean off any spots.
Alternatively i suppose that lacquer thinner would work.
chris s wroteOr install it with 3M automotive tape... The OEM spoiler is installed with tape...so why not?
330iTiAg wroteIt's most definitely not being "popped off" even with 3M tape. If someone tries hard enough, they'll break it off with betalink too... So what's the difference really?Because this spoiler is 'taller' than the lower-profile OEM spoiler. It would be easier to pop off it were just held on with 3M tape.
