My BMW M Performance exhaust with Active Autowerks Test Pipe
AP muffler with borla x pipe

Lc
All of those exhausts sound so good!
Do we have a sponsor that sells Corsa on this forum?
My M3 E90 with Akrapovic evolution (titanium exhaust system)

Tried exhaust mod, didn’t like the sound.
Tried Supersprint race, waaay to loud and drone!
And m performance, very good but a little to silent and hatet the looks of it looking at that big hump u underneath.

This is the best there is, perfect tone, not to bassy, and most important, no drone!l

Long motorway trips are no problem at al, and when pedal to the metal a rich and full sound but never to agressive.

Man!!!

That was sick!
Put on the AA hfc xpipe and AA exhaust (gen 2) but it is too loud for my preference. I just want a little more volume and noise than the full oem set up. And I really enjoy the intake noise.

Would I be better suited keeping the hfc xpipe with the oem muffler or going test pipes + oem muffler?

I currently have the full catless active Autowerke x pipe with preserved twin resonators. I want to add a rear section. Looking for more volume thru the rev range but still civil enough under 3500 rpm where I'm not drawing crazy attention. Will be cruising on the highway so I want to limit drone as much as possible but my tolerance is on the higher side (I can just turn the music up and it doesn't bother me as much)

Would like that deep bass feel down low in the rpm but looking for that F1 howl up top. I'm thinking between AA Gen 2, dinan, eisenmann race, Remus and akra/mpe (mainly for weight savings). From all the videos, it seems like E. Race or Remus will likely offer what I'm looking for. Any thoughts?
This thread is fantastic. Makes great reference for future decisions
Wow, I posted this thread in 2009. I’m glad it’s still giving good value to the E9X M3 folks.

I haven’t been on the E9X M3 forums much since I moved on to my F80 M3 several years ago.

But hope people can continue to post new videos of any more exhaust combos that haven’t been covered yet!
