Blendmount and MirrorTap Hardwired Radar Detector

Saw some threads about the mirror tap not working, so wanted to add my experience here..

2011 E90 M3 with high beam assistant and installed the blendmount for my Gen2 Valentine1.

Pins go into wire 3 for switched power and wire 10 for ground within the mirror housing itself, not the sunroof button compartment, so this should work on carbon roof and slick tops, and all is pretty self explanatory.

Do you ever feel the need to remove the detector when parking in areas not at home?

Not really.. I just remove it when I park overnight somewhere. Who even steals radar detectors these days lol
