Audison DSP getting hot fast, install error?

Have an Audison AF m12.14 and it’s running off high level inputs from the factory 676 harness. The issue I’m having is that it gets hot pretty quick. This happens whether the music is playing or not. With ignition on and everything muted it draws what seems like a lot of power. It’s killed my battery twice now. When I’m driving, it even makes my idle higher. Any suggestions on where I can look? My power is from the main power bolt, fused and into a 4 gauge distro block.

Recommend double triple checking your wiring.

Make sure your impedance loads are wired, bridged, and mathed correctly.

Amps at idle should draw almost nothing.

From the sounds of it, the amp is trying to do something regardless of audio input.
