Hi - I bought some aftermarket puddle light replacements for my rear doors assuming they were there, ends up that must have come in the F series.
I didn't want to give up though - so after careful analysis, I retrofitted them.
The bottom of the door panel has an indent that looks perfect for one, so I measured and cut out the spot. Snaps right in.
To wire them, I simply tapped off of the two wires going to the door handle LED's, which is right under the top of the waterproofing membrane on the door. I didn't take photos, but next time I have the door panel off I will if anyone wants to see.
