What’s the best way to remove water spots from windows and off of the frozen metallic piant? It’s not in too deep but trying to get ahead of it before irreversible

I had a MB E-450 wagon in their matte gray. Stunning car! I love wagons. Loved it but couldn’t live with the stress of the matte paint.

I used Dr. Beasley’s products and it cleaned some rather nasty road grime off with no issues. Somehow I went thru some grease and it cleaned it off the rocker panels. Went slow and easy and it all came off.

It won't become irreversible. Dilute isopropyl alcohol with water (1:4 ratio) and spray it onto a microfiber cloth, then gently wipe in straight lines over the affected area. Use only the lightest pressure. Follow up with a second dry microfiber to remove any excess solution.

Applying a matte-safe coating like Gyeon Cure Matte (https://gyeonusa.com/products/q2m-cure-matte-redefined) will provide some resistance against water spots. I apply it every 2-3 washes.

Yes, it's more of a clay substitute for deposit removal. I have it and avoid using it because it's corrosive and you have to wear gloves. But if the isopropyl alcohol doesn't remove the water spots, it would certainly be worth a try.
