If you love doing restoration work, and have the time yeah go for it.
But as a purely business thing, I don't think there's enough spread, with what that car will need to attract $25k+ buyers imo.
Single hump might draw some ppl in, but being a 2008 would prob push at least as many, if not more, away.

To fix the car up keep in mind these things will need to be replaced either now or very soon: rod bearings, con rod bolts, another throttle actuator, probably a clutch, plus injectors, spark plugs, valve covers and gaskets, maybe a new fuel pump, fuel breather valve, engine mounts, probably trans mounts, driveshaft center bearing and definitely a new battery and alternator, idle speed correction valve. That top of mind list is about $9K at least and labor prices are extremely high. Unless you're doing this renovation yourself I'd think very carefully indeed. This car is more like a $14K car at best IMO. Let us know what you decide to do.

Also, knocking on the '08s make no sense at all especially given this is single hump. LCI cars had cost cut features, but they did at least gain... new tail lights.

Well I bought it 
Cars already had a quick one step on to help pop the paint. Probably needed a real heavy two step correction but I’m okay with the quick results.
Full interior detail complete and currently the leather is getting the good ol Leatherique treatment.
Parts are on their way for rod bearings and some little misc stuff in the engine bay as well.
Headliner is next up!
