BBS Chrome

I just got my BBS LM-R with and polished lip 1st time having a polished wheel what are you guys using to clean and keep up the polished shine for the barrels

The lip being a polished metal, you would just clean with a ph neutral cleaner. If the finish gets dull then use a metal polish.
I have used Adam’s metal 1 and 2 polish with great success on chrome finishes.

Nevr dull is another great metal polish I like, and very easy to use if regularly cleaning with it.

Chrome is different from polished aluminum, as chrome is a plating while polished aluminum can be the raw metal or have a clear coat over it.

If the barrels are clear coated, you’d want to use a wheel cleaner, and/or a regular compound or polish to polish them. If they’re raw aluminum, an aluminum wheel cleaner and aluminum polish is more appropriate.

IMO, the further refined and high polished you get it, IME....it tends to show oxidation a bit faster than if it was just -90% high polished...

You can mitigate that by putting a sealant onto, BUT, for my OCD eyes, putting a LSP on it does mute the high polish a little bit. Many may not notice the clarity difference.....but for anything high polish, I tend to leave it raw as I don't like the look of a LSP ontop. More maintence as such

Chrome is a plating.

Rims are high polished alloy, so use Mother's MAG polish. The best.

I ceramic coat mine (e88s) afterwards. With a panel wipe spray inbetween ofc.
