Was the track at Monaco falling apart (Charles crash)?

I saw the crumbling tarmac. Was the temperature in Europe that high this summer? I know at some tracks when the tarmac gets to hot it starts to fall apart. You would think that a tiny principality with more billionaires than anywhere could take care of the roads. A lot of billionaires have left Dubai for Monaco. Business in Dubai and live in Monaco.

Was it the brake mod that Charles did not have that Lewis did or was it the delaminating track that caused his crash or both? I like Charles= good driver. However, this Kimi kid is like a baby Max. I wish Raikkonen had that car back in the day. The McLaren he had was fast but lacked reliability because Steve Nichols had left again.

that particular area of monaco always always cracked form what i remember.

i've hit similar cracks on hpde days that made me lose some braking effectiveness.
