Coding help needed for Single Hump Dash Conversion

Hi all, I'm finally getting around to doing more diagnostics with ISTA and would like to properly code the car for the lack of iDrive aftering doing the single hump dash conversion, coming up on 5 years ago, lol. I'm a bit OCD and can't stand seeing all the red when I do a scan, plus I'm thinking this may be affecting other things negatively.

I found this thread which seems to have all the coding info needed but other than ProTools, i've not done any real coding and would like to learn how. I paid someone to install ISTA and it doesn't seem to have the full BMW Tools so I don't have NCS Expert, NCS Dummy,Tool32 or INPA. I know it was silly but I just needed a copy of ISTA at the time and didn't feel like going through the whole processes.

Anyway, any help is appreciated. I'd be willing to pay to have someone hold my hand through the process or remote into my machine to help me get the software running properly on my dedicated windows laptop that I use for this. I had previously installed BMW Tools and had it running on an older MacBook Pro running bootcamp but I can't seem to get that laptop to connect anymore.

Thank you, I actually watched a bunch of his videos originally to get my bootcamp partition set up with the BMW Tools package.

You basically just want to pull your VO, look them all up (you can google and find a full list,) remove the options you removed, default code the whole car.

You can look up all those steps individually and shouldn't be too bad.

Tip: Save a copy of your original VO so you can go back if things go sideways.

A little bit of searching ‘BMW standard tools’ should get you the apps you’re missing.
