So what are your predictions?
After the long hiatus lots of teams came with updates last race in Miami.
Updates that worked. McLaren got very fast, up to par with Mercedes, and against all expectations: RB was fast too again. But not 'Mercedes fast' and their GP was not without problems.
But the team that didn't bring updates and was still fast.....Team Mercedes. Their updates come this GP, the Canadian GP. Will they work? Will their speed dwarf other teams again? We'll see

Juan Pablo Montoya has argued that the FIA should impose heavy sanctions on Max Verstappen's negativity towards the new F1 regulations.



Juan Pablo Montoya has called for Max Verstappen to be punished with penalty points on his FIA super license that would push him towards a race ban for his continued criticism of F1's 2026 regulations.
"You've got to respect the sport," Montoya told the BBC's Chequered Flag podcast. "For me, what the drivers are doing, I'm okay with you not liking the regulations, but the way you were speaking about what you're living off and your own sport, there should be consequences for that."

Can't blame Hannah Schmitz for that but hopefully she'll have a lucky strike for MAX at Montreal.

I think that Max' consistent complaining about the current electrification of F1 has resulted in that NA V8's are now on the table again and a real possibility for ~2031 rules.

So either you choose Max' complaining and possibly get V8's again, or you listen to Montoya and get more electrification, less sound, artificial power etc etc.
Sounds like a very clear choice to me
Everyone understands that....except Juan....

Juan Montoya is insufferable on the F1 Channel presenters lineup, always hijacking the discussions. I would have so much more respect for Jolyen Palmer if he just pointed out that Montoya was full of $hit and smacked him a good one.
