My CF roof is starting to look awful after a bunch of rock-chips (thanks Poconos raceway) and most recently a section of the clear coat lifting up while removing temporary TrackArmor/trackwrap. The white dots are small rock chips which I am sure will grow to horrible clear-coat peeling circles. Does anyone in NYC-area have a recommended shop to re-clear the roof?
One shop I am speaking with is recommending that we strip off the current clear (which has apparently been done before on this car) and adding a little bit of dye to the new clear to reduce any of the yellowing of the carbon fiber resin.
Goal is to get it back to OEM and then put some PPF over the roof to preserve it from future rock chips/damage...
