Secondary cat delete / 2 pipe mod in Inland Empire?

Wanted to see if anyone has a recommendation on where to go to have this done. I have a spare set off the car. Or if anyone on here does it local I’m willing to pay.

Any muffler shop can do it. Pretty easy. All the pipe is 2.5". Only need like 3-3.5ft of it (like 18in for each secondary cat and then 6" for each internal pipe in the muffler to replace the perforted pipe).

I wouldn't pay more than $500.

He wants both x pipe fabbing and the muffler.

I would say $250-300 for each or like $500 total? Labor prices are insane now though.

True, but I’m trying to retain primary to avoid CEL.

Consider between $150 and $200 per hour for welding, about 2-3 hours on the X-pipe and 2-3 hours on the x-pipe. Let's call it 6 hours @ $150... for both to be done, $900, or on the low end of 4 hours, $600.

Assuming the x-pipe and muffler are already removed from the car, then we're avoiding another 1-hour labor charge.

Tack on $100? For the material needed.

Also, the price of argon has gone up a lot as well. So this would factor in material cost.

Buying a used setup is probably the better choice. Selling their good-condition OEM X-pipe in SoCal is worth at least $650+ if they decide to sell it.

Good condition OEM x-pipes are valuable in SoCal, lol.
