E92 M3 price decision

All, need help deciding.

Please be aware the prices are for Australia.
I'm currently looking at buying a M3 and looking at 2 E92 M3 both are white with carbon roof, and both are owned by mature owners.

2008 Pre LCI with the old taillights Comp with 359 wheels 93kms rod bearings and throttle actuator done with An IPE Muffler and asking, has 2 small dents on the side with a scratch on rear bumper. Asking for 58k.

2011 LCI Base with 220 wheels 72kms not done rod bearing or throttle actuator. Car is fully stock; no scratches or dents looks like it's been taken care of really good asking 56k.

My Question which one seems like the better option I feel like the 2008 Pre LCi models are less desirable in the future but has the 359 wheels and rods done so that's a plus.
But the 2011 LCI one is newer and has better taillights and lower km but I can always possibly get the 359 wheels for it.

I see very little to no point choosing an LCI over pre-LCI. Any discrepancies of competition package or CIC...or tail lights, they're all moot point. And if you really care about them you can easily spec your pre-LCI car and upgrade all said components.

Id go with the pre-lci one based on the maintenance done and you can always spent 1000 on retrofitting LCI taillights onto the 08.

From what ive read 08 has better build quality.

That being said if you want something pristine the lci one is worth it (no dents or scratch). Go with whatever makes most sense.

I think it must be an australian thing but damn your m3s are expensive over there. Like 1.5x the price what I paid for mine.

Even with a struggling economy, the prices of these cars have increased significantly. I sold my 35,000-mile, only-garage-kept 2010 M3 in pristine condition (single hump) for $47,000 last year. In today’s market, it would be worth much more.

If you can find clean car buy it now, it would go up even more!
