Cannot for the life of me find where to buy alternator tensioner bolt

Have searched around a ton. slightly stripped the bolt that you push down on the alternator belt to release tension. want to replace it. it’s the bolt that’s under the plastic cap you take off. what part is this???

I’m most sure you can just replace the bolt unless you can find the specs for it, which may be buried in this thread.

Possibly you can just replace the pulley that comes with the bolt.

Or you can replace the entire tensioner for like $200.

Need to buy the whole housing from BMW.

You can replace the pulley as we've found replacements, but you need to reuse that bolt. The bolt that comes with the new pulley is not correct for the application.

Bolt isn't sold separately from BMW.
