Just checking if anyone else ran into this group. Group of about 30-40 different M cars in basically a rolling street takeover. Ran into them after getting onto Marquam bridge I5 northbound around 11 this morning and went into WA. Lots of F8x and G8x, with a few E9x and even some F85 and F95.
They were being unbelievably obnoxious. The F8x were constantly tapping the throttle to show off their burble and gunshot tunes. Constantly weaving through traffic at speed, cutting into barely existing gaps, dudes hanging out windows for pictures. Eventually a few cars created a front and blocked all lanes of traffic, then they kept dropping to 40 MPH to then punch it up to speed. Slowed the freeway down a solid 15-20 MPH on average.
This got so infuriating it made me bail a few exits early to take back roads the rest of the way. Not to mention the gunshot tunes were causing my dog to visibly start panicking. Makes me embarrassed to be an M car owner (luckily wasn't driving it today). Just trying to have a simple cruise up the freeway to visit family and had my drive absolutely ruined. These people are a big reason why so many hate car lovers
