good call on the PPF. I made the trip from Toronto down to the dragon this year (I probably even saw you in Helen) but I did not PPF my roof or frontend...I think I got a few chips in the roof 
Wow. It’s been a while since I posted here. I’ve shared this on the BBS thread but here’s the car with 19” e88s I stole off my brother’s F80 back in January. Car sat for most of the winter. Have been enjoying my new daily X3M in the meantime (also alpine white). 
I went back Helen this year. Through and through a fantastic week.
Before leaving I took care of some maintenance/preventative maintenance.
-> Oil Change
-> Transmission Fluid
-> Differential Fluid
-> Spark Plugs
-> Injectors
-> FBV
I also got an alignment, turns out my car was never aligned after the Öhlins went on. Not throwing shade, but I might/might not have been driving around with crow-foot toe for almost 4k miles. Many thanks to my good friend Jorge @ Keanes Autoworks in Bedford Hills, NY for getting me on the rack last minute.

Made it to and from Helen,GA to New York no problem. Car performed flawlessly in the mountains.
Funny enough, I’ve never seen the oil temp gauge climb above 210 in my ownership. So I didn’t realize on a 96 degree day cruising with the AC on the oil temp stabilizing at 230 is a possibility. Totally freaked me out. Recently found that my oil filter housing gasket has started leaking, have a whole new oil filter housing on the way, additionally considering Do88 cooling in the near future.

Fast forward to yesterday, took the car out for some festivities. Tried my close friends’ 21As on the car. The bronze finish on the wheels are fantastic, but I wouldn’t say they 100% belong on the car. Hard to capture the highlights of the bright alpine white and the metallic bronze finish. Might also look a little bit better with a little bit more low.
