I picked up a new to me E93 a couple weeks ago. The oil was changed about 1200 miles ago, but I'm going to do it in another 1200 miles at 105k and do an oil analysis to determine whether I am going to do RBs (they haven't been done). I don't believe the diff and transmission services have been done (based on the records I have). What fluids do y'all recommend for these services? No diff whine or issues with the MT shifting. May also get the engine mounts done at the same time. Does everyone just go with the stock ones?
Oil analysis with a sample size of 1 will tell you almost nothing useful about the health of your engine. You need several time points to establish a trend. Do the analysis but don’t expect to learn a lot.
