Interesting thread here. Once I saw the front grill of the G80 in the IOM Green press release photos, I threw up in my mouth a little bit. Then bought a BOP 2020 X3 M Comp. I then doubled down & bought a EOP 2024 X3 M Comp slick-top to add to the collection. Ya... I like the F97 that much. Once they're properly sorted, their an absolute weapon & precision scalpel.
With SDW front mono-balls in the thrust arms, DINAN springs, much wider tires, the 6-piston OEM Brembos & a few other trick chassis components, like the negative camber front hubs off the BMW part shelves +(an Akra mid-pipe & 11-mode exhaust controller), it dusts many purpose built RWD sports cars, while being a true sleeper.
Now I want a clean 2011 M3 Comp DCT with the fox red interior to add to the mix. So I see what you guys did here & are talking about. Have fun out there & add to your collections. But try not to sacrifice an AWD S58 powered beast in the process, to get into another nice E90 M3. Have the best of both worlds & find a way to get them both.
