Paul Revere and the Raiders -- the Great Airplane Strike (1966)
I got caught up in the 1966 great airplane strike myself. I spent half the summer after my freshman year in college at home in the Philippines, but had to get to Quantico, Virginia, for Marine Corps officer candidate training. The flight from the Philippines to the West Coast was on military aircraft and was uneventful. But I had almost 3,000 miles to go. It turned out that the Air National Guard came to the rescue and I rode from California to Maryland on an ANG KC-97.

Been listening to various De Phazz tracks. Quite varied from trip hop to jazz fusion.
