I could probably survive a Schwartz's sandwich with only a small vitamin pee chaser if I am ever in Montreal again. Of course, this is extremely unlikely to happen. While my passport is up-to-date (border closings aside), my Spanish comprehension is 95% gone. The only thing that got my family through our last visit to Montreal was that I could generally read the French signs.
I swear that the people of Quebec all sadistically laugh at having their highway signs pointing back to the USA written only in French, to punish our mono-lingual butts.....
