Actually, I have some. Haven't used em in years. I like ice and the mellowness the water gives the alcohol.
*edit* I thought you mint the nylon cubes that freeze. I also have the large square molds as well. Ice machine is so convenient.

I have whiskey stones, but they don't stay cold at all, and even though they aren't supposed to have a flavor, they kind of do. I much prefer the ice. I don't have an ice machine so I can see how convenience would trump all!

I drink too much to waste money on the good shit. Drinking Wild Turkey American Honey at the moment. If I was any more of a tight ass I would be drinking goon bags and flagans.

I haven't invested in a liquor collection (although I had a crapload when I was 23 and had my own house, but it was mostly the essentials for getting fucked up... ICB's [Bailey's, Jameson's, Guinness], "Enhanced" AMF [Belvedere, Patrón, Sailor Jerry and Tanqueray] and even 151 when [lack of] love hurts LOL)...

Now, it's just a pint of Stoli, and the only other bottle of alcohol in this place is whatever wine my GF got... I'm not well-versed in wine to judge whatever she got at Costco: Gérard Betrand Grand Terroir 2013 FWIW. Also, some Don Brito Tequila I brought from México if a previous roommate hasn't stolen it.

I keep telling the wife that I'm trying to empty the bottles for her niece to be able to do her crafty thing. There are 4 next to the bed from the last 2 weeks.

Works about as well as the UncWede excuse.

Tonight, dug into the back of the bar and poured a Cadhu 12. Had not drunk it in a long time but will move to the top of the list for a while...
