Curb Weight - 3704 lbs (BMW released this as the sedan weight some time ago)

Fuel Tank - 16.6 gallons

Rear Tire size - 245/35 ZR 19 (Must be a misprint?)

Logic7 and Individual High-End are options.

Looks like BMW has had this since 10/07. Now we really know how long they have been holding out on us!
Awesome E, and by the looks of it, page 100 shows the split armrest! WOOHOO!

2008 BMW M3 Owner's Manual
Nice, finally some new hard information! But North American with a euro plate on the cover? I'm sending the whole thing to the color printer at the office tomorrow and putting it in a 3-ring binder for perusal.
nice info

FFS .... That's nothing. We right-hand drivers have a left-hand drive car on the cover of our manuals!
let me be one of the first to own this manual, and maybe the car will soon to follow :D

Yeah, just a typical wallpaper shot for them.

2008 BMW M3 Owner's Manual
Your welcome. Glad folks are getting some value out of being able to read the owners manual before they get their cars .....

Yea ... the Logic7 documented in the owners manual puzzled me, as I was always under the impression (and perhaps I'm wrong) that the standard audio offered on the US M3's didn't include Logic7 .... trying to confirm that with BMW NA. Infact Logic7 wasn't even offered at all for US M3's. Only the higher end (or individual) audio option.

From reading the manual, it does appear to be the North American version. For example, take PDC. It only describes the rear PDC functionality rather than rear and front PDC as offered on markets outside the US.
I'm trying to find the manual for a 2008 335xi sedan, no-i-drive navigation, as well as the radio manual for logic7.

My car is scheduled for delivery in mid-February and I'm looking for some pre-reading materials.
Hate to piss on the parade but I had a look at a PDF of Euro spec and American Spec brochures in another thread. Though I would LOVE to see it, Logic 7 was nowhere to be found in the NA spec brochure but was of course in the Euro brochure...I hope I am wrong but suspect I'm not. Please God let me be wrong!

It is in the owner's manual. Not sure what you are fretting about.
This one's for E:
p63: "Never drive at engine speeds in the red warning field." That's weird...

Not the car, only the tach!

Appears to me this is an owners manual for the Americans AND Canadians, a money saving move for BMW and normal I am sure...if true, aren't the options and standard set ups different for these two markets? I think that would answer the puzzle about Logic 7. I'll bet its optional in The Canadian market but not in the US market. Thoughts?

My understanding when I purchased my e46 M3 was that Canadian M3s are essentially configured very close to fully loaded. Some of the only options available to me were 19" wheels, rear electric sunshade, and navigation. That was it, if I remember correctly.

Youre right. I went back and checked the Canadian ordering guide and Logic7 is the standard audio setup for Canadian cars. Mystery solved !!
Did you guys notice, the car will tell you how much brake pad you have left?
