I saw the exact color combo M3 in person and it was a little light in my opinion. I feel it needed to be similar to Monte Carlo Blue on the M5... Otherwise great looking car!

M4 looks like a Hyundai next to that e92M. Im calling YMB "handicap" blue from now on because of the similarities to the blue parking lot paint.

+1 BMW needs to put a deep metallic blue in the lineup.

Please don't replace that beautiful color blue with that ugly Yasmin blue color.. That's my favorite color blue for the m3 in love with it!!

Alright, I don't see how the front of the F80 is busy at all, it has just as much going on in the front as the e92. I'm sure the protruding "nose" is just something to get used to, because I'm fine with it. The face of the F80 looks gorgeous in person to the human eye there's no denying that.
2nd of all, you're comparing a sedan to a coupe, of course the sedan is going to look a little more "boxier". If it was an F82, it'd stack up extremely better.
Finally 3rd of all, the e92 has mods up the ass while the F80 is stock, so cmon guys.

my 2 cents.

Love the comparison, but you gotta see YMB in person to really judge it...

The E92 has aged so well. Doubt the sharp edges of the F8X will look as lovely years from now

I'm still reserving judgement on the Yas Marina Blue, but the photos I've seen thus far haven't done it justice. After seeing the paint in person, it's starting to grow on me. I think the black wheels lend a bit more visual aggression to the car which the somewhat pale YMB really needs.

I have a ton of media to process from today's E30 M3 SIGFest event also held at BMW NA. I'm hoping to get started on those shots tomorrow...

The santorini blue all the way. And in general, the E92 looks so much better than the F80. This shape, engine, feel etc will never be replaced.

I hated YMB until I saw it in lower light; definitely not a fan in bright light. While your E92 is a great looking car I prefer the F80. Also keep in mind we are comparing a modded car to a stock one. The E92 is showing it's age on several design queues. The F80 looks aggressive and mean... I like.

Definitely Santorini. Yas is the most disgusting blue I've come across in recent years, on par with the Toyota hybrid baby blue. But I still think Estoril / Monte Carlo is the best looking. Perfect balance of classy and sporty.

Ohhhhh okay so Yas is Handicap Parking Spot Metallic. Well why didn't they just call it that?

I still can't decide if I hate it or if it's ok.
