Thank you LarThal! This is a short term solution to a problem that will CERTAINLY become long term if not addressed right now. Do not fret for me my friend as we will be talking Porsche in no time. I know you already own one. My family and I are very blessed. I'm trying to make certain we stay that way while having SOME modicum of fun. Some folks don't have the luxury of this alternative. I enjoyed this WONDERFUL car for 3 years and now someone else will have a chance to.

Thank you. The E9x M3's are about to be the new E46 M3's. Trust me. That's what sucks about this

I get a huge smile when I see my kid yelling "yay!!! M3 Daddy's car!"
My grown kids love the M3 as well. The one consolation is my 20 year old thinks the FR-S is a reasonably cool car.
Thanks

Yeah it's getting there.. expect worse for the 86 community since it's a cheaper car. You're gonna deal with mostly teenage kids and people that do stupid things to their car. lol

I feel your pain. my e92 m3 has to go for similar reasons, but luckily I have found an e46 m3 to keep the addiction at bay! Can't wait to compare the two actually. The e92 v8 obviously will have more power, but there's something about that inline 6...

I'm so sorry to hear this, but I admire you for making the right decision, even though it was a hard one to make. I'm glad you will still be sticking around.

Picked up the Scion today and put new rubber and wheels on immediately. Had I know mine came with a tasteful gunmetal color wheel I would've thought longer about swapping them out. I've driven the car about 70 miles already and my impression is this car is CRYING, SCREAMING for 50 more horsepower. Most ppl say 100 more ponies but I disagree. 50 would do quite nicely. Secondly, I am going to have to grow to love 4 cylinder engines again and this one in particular. It LOVES to rev but doesn't sound very good doing it. Not obnoxious but not great either. Thirdly, I drove spirited for 70 miles and the gas gauge HAS BARELY MOVED. Everything is driver focused in the cabin and a decent material for the price point. THE SEATS ARE AMAZING. I was not expecting the seats to be a "racing type seat" and very supportive to boot. Excellent driving position for a car this low too. You could drive for days in this car very comfortably and easily.
That is my dime store review and thank you for listening. I think I'm gonna be fine. Thank you EVERYONE!!!!

Looks good !
Love the white with black look...its definitely a drivers car. The only complaint I have heard is what you mentioned ...not enough power. They do have a great forum with a bunch of performance oriented guys on it...I have lurked there. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/index.php

Congrats!!

You are the best. I am actually enjoying the car WAY MORE than I anticipated. I'm actually at the movies right now because I just had to keep driving today. There is something real, raw, true and authentic about the car. It honestly feels like a resto-modded little sports car from 25 years ago. Best way I can describe it. Seeing A Million Ways to Die in The West BTW.
