Anybody looking to sell a BBK?

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None
Item Interest
Will be using 18" rims for track duty, so not too big of a front rotor.

I can get a new Stoptech BBK from a shop that's sponsored me on other projects for ~$4600, so I'm looking for a deal on a setup ;-)

TIA...

George B.

$4600 is a great deal. You should get them .
Buying a used kit at low price will def need new rotors, pads and etc so it will cost you same as the new kit or more. Good Luck !

I hear what you're saying, IMG--but sometimes sets come up for sale w/ lower miles from guys that may not use them on the track.

One never knows... ;-)

Thx for the response!

Garage List
2004 BMW M3  [4.50]
2011 BMW E90 M3  [5.00]
2013 BMW 328i  [5.00]
On this...I'd just go new. The hard parkers will surely drive up the price of a used kit to the point where it just makes more sense to just get a new BBK.

Then all you'll find are ST60 kits. IMO, an ST40 front kit is the way to go. Pads are cheaper, last just as long and give you a LOT more 18" wheel options. Even 17" wheel options!

Well, maybe enough air on the 40s will cut it during 140+ Sebring track temps for my fat, loaded sedan? What are you guys doing for air, BTW?

Hard parkers? lol!

I have a set of red stoptech st40 bbk for sale. It is still on the car though. Front brake pad is not due for replacement for another 15000 miles, rear for another 25000 miles. Installed last year (original rotor and pads set) and never tracked. Pm if interested.
