17k, jesus. That's half the car's retail value

I personally would go with the 2015 Subaru WRX STI if my budget allows. That car looks soooo good to me now, never liked them unless it was around 2005 years. My barber has one that he modded well. (Engine at least) Great gas for a 4 banger, Impressive styling, performance is it's thing as well. At least you get 290 lb-ft of tq lol. Just remember one thing! Please do not I repeat please you not go into the Subaru dealership with a M mindset, as a matter of fact DON'T drive the M3 there take another car thennnnn...ya know. Good Luck!!

The new Mk7 GTI or VW R. I've always been a fan of those boxy little buggers.

Ironic, I just bought a new home and haven't sold my old one yet. I also have 2 kids in college. For one hot second I thought I was gonna have to downsize the M3 as well. Not completely outta the woods yet but the only car that I kept rotating back to was the Nissan 370z touring. The CURRENT Mustang is just too cheap looking though I love the motor and the bang for the buck it provides. I don't think I could wait for the 2015 model due to an alleged October release. The C7 Stingray would be a no brainer but doesn't SAVE any money in any trim. I'm keeping the M3 and hoping my house sells soon. No matter what.

If the EVO is still under consideration, I'd get a Ryan Gates 311RS. I absolutely think it's worth the money.

I've owned both cars, first an 05 STI and then went to an 08 EVO X before getting my m3. The EVO feels more refined than the STI. More precise and responsive in terms of handling. Both are great for modding. Very little money gives a ton of HP. I dyno'd 350 wheel with FBO in my EVO and like 330 wheel with FBO in my STI. Never had any problems with either, people that have issue's either don't know how to drive or just got their cars tuned by shitty tuners. Plain and simple. So if I had to go back to either, it would definitely be the EVO but you can't really go wrong with either. A turbo AWD platform is so much fun, to the point to where I actually ended up having to get rid of my EVO because my driving record was getting worse by the month

I'd probably get another 135 if I had to down-size, they're going relatively cheap these days.

Just buy a CPO 335i. You can get one for around 30k with low miles, and it will be much better that the cars you are considering now, especially as a daily driver. Heck, it's a better daily driver than your current M3.

Um, I'd get a 2014 Accord Sport 6 speed sedan. First car in a long time that has the old Honda magic....fell in love with one after driving a friends.

Remember the Top Gear episode where they were looking for cheap and cheerful? This is it.

Uhhh.. no way. My parents have a 2014 Accord. I think it's a great car - very practical, comfortable and looks good.. but no way is it as sporty and fun to drive as an Evo or any of the other cars mentioned above.

If we're talking about Honda then a Civic, RSX, or S2000 would be higher on my list than the Accord. I think the OP wants something still sporty.

Never claimed it to be as fun or as sporty as an Evo/STi/M3. But that doesn't mean it's NOT fun to drive.
