DCT paddle opinions

So I've been looking to replace the stock DCT paddles with some extended ones. I've narrowed it down between getting red or gunmetal but can't seem to make my mind up. There isn't any red in my interior, or exterior for that matter, and I wouldn't be planning on adding anymore but for some reason I think the pop of color on the paddles would look good. This is where everyones opinion comes in, what do you think would look better? If you have any pictures of your car with the same paddles in the gunmetal or the red especially I would love if you would post them. Thanks for the help!

How about a more subtle look? Definitely more aggressive than OEM, but not as "loud" as red:

I found them on Jbspeed, they're the BMW aluminum paddle shifter for E9x M3, but doing a Google search of dct paddles is how I found the red.

I have the turner ones in gunmetal which look like the pic you posted. I like them a lot functionally, much better than factory. Red would look cool because gunmetal sort of gets lost visually. Red is pretty loud though.

Personally I'd go with the gun metal, nice sleek look. Since my cars blue painting the + and - in blue would look pretty sweet.

Meh, gunmetal. The red is just too much - especially if nothing on/in your car is red to begin with.

I just put these paddles on this week. They definitely make paddle shifting feel more exciting. They have grooves for your figure tips and are more accessible then the oem paddles due to their size.

IMO painting your paddle shifters red is like painting your windshield wiper arms red. Yuck! EAS black paddles w/o holes match the M3 interior best. But silver w/o holes might match the silver trim accents too. The ones with holes don't look very nice nor do they match at all.

yeah but have you tried the EAS ones? the gap between the paddle and steering wheel is so thin I couldn't even get my hands around the wheel.
