These are nice option for us that wants to keep the EDC. Wonder if they will make the ZCP one though later.

Tom,

The sport mode in non zcp struts were linear and not dynamic (normal and comfort were variable damped). One of the advantages of zcp struts were that all three modes were dynamic.

Are these struts dynamic across the board? If so, in sport mode they would be more beneficial than the non zcp struts.

I believe, even if the struts were dynamic in the 3 modes, the car must be coded as well. It may sound strange, but I like the non-active sports mode, for the predictability.

Bilstein will have more information on the internals, it's best to speak with a tech directly. As far as I know though, they are going to be based off non ZCP.

You tell me? Like I mentioned, I thought someone above posted that these shocks didn't work for ZCP because the spring perch was higher. I have no clue if that's a problem or not if you remove the whole shock. That's what I was asking.

You cant use a sleeve kit with these shocks. The Dinan kit would be more comparable to to just lowering springs + goodies. The shell on these struts is unibody so it wont allow an after market strut clamp where the spring sits.

You cannot use their adjustable "race" suspension. However, you can use the stage 1 to 3.

I dont see a EDC compatible setup yet for the ZCP struts. The ZCP are going to have a lower strut collar. The non ZCP struts will make your car sit higher. Hopefully Bilstein will come out with a ZCP specific setup.

Can these HD Bilstein EDC units be used with lowering springs on a non ZCP vehicle? I'm considering H&R sports to go along with the replacements next month. I know they advertise "ideal for lowering springs", but you reminded me Bilstein makes the sport (non edc) with lowering springs specifically in mind. Thanks for any info.
