Maybe im reading this the wrong way, but they're wheels, not the Mona Lisa. Its easily reversible. Not sure why people get so offended by plastidip, lol.

Don't they peel right off? Or is it a PITA to remove?

Hard part is getting it started. Imagine a balloon wrapped around something. ...once you get an edge, you got it. In fact, the more you put on the easier it is to remove. It bonds to itself so thicker is stronger but not more adhesive to the surface (a good thing). I suggest several coats.

Did you remove the wheels from the car to spray them?

I have seen this done but have to disagree with all that have done it...it does not look good. It looks dull, it never is even, and usually to me makes the wheels look bad. It is just my opinion but have always opted for paint which sheens, holds up, and looks better than any application of dip I have ever seen...I just could not bring myself to put this finish on a BMW either...just my .02

sorry Mike, you are wrong. I had my old wheels done by a professional and was sprayed evenly and turned out awesome. It all depends on the person who is doing it.
Ive seen a lot worse things done to a BMW than plastidip.

I agree that much worse could be done however I do agree when it comes to perfection you are one to count on for that kind of work. It is just my opinion in the long run that it doesn't look good to me.
