Did you really just come on a M3 forum and ask what we think Based on your implied needs the M3 may not meet your torque needs. Although I say keep the RPM's high and you'll have all the juice you need to move around. Seriously, it's hard to say. Will you be tracking the car or are you just wanting to do a little light to light drag racing? Are you looking for a coupe or sedan?..................Phil

I think your current ride is pretty sweet. Seems like you could just mod it some and be fine.

The M3 won't provide the torque you're looking for. And for the fact that you want a manual, makes your options smaller. How about a cts-v coupe?

For stoplight racing you need something with all wheel drive then. How about a pre-owned Audi RS4 or RS5? They come with a 6speed manual and you can probably find a good one in your price range.

I think you're the perfect candidate for the new M4, wait 6 months and be happy!

Yeah in the US but I figured it came in a MT version in the UK.

If you don't need 4 seats, why not the new cayman s? It sounds amazing and can be had in a stick if that's what you prefer.
