Nice whip. Are the 18's for the track or general handling?

Bought them for track mainly.
No hardcore racing but haha. Just few light events per year.

I do like how they look on the car. Gunmetal suits it!

Good to see. The M3 loves the track, very addictive and it's surprising just how far these cars can be pushed and hold the road

On a different note, how are things progressing since heart transplant? Feel a difference?

I'm still running it in, almost done though, but am rev limited until then. The torque is insane and it's been set up specifically for track while still being able to daily drive. Would have to be over 700 wheel horsepower

I've had my E92 M3 (also an 08) for a bit over 5 months now and still loving it more and more every time I drive it. Haven't had an E30 M3 but had an Evo E36 M3 and an E46 M3 in the 8 years preceeding this one.

Only mods I've done to date have been OEM retrofits, LCI LED tail lights (a must, soooo much better look) and the CIC Navigation head unit and iDrive controller. I also replaced the rear seat cup holders because they were scratched. Seems to be a common damage point based on other E92/93 M3 cars I've seen too.

Welcome to the club!
Nice, man those rear seat cup holders... Where did you gets those and do you have the part numbers?

Part number is 51166963909. They are $237 from a Stealer. I got mine MUCH cheaper from ECS as part of an order of various parts for myself and a mate.

^^^^ This sounds something I also need to do as well...the high release point of the clutch makes it a bit difficult to launch from the lights without riding the s*** out of the clutch. Ive only had my car for about a month and I dont drive it everyday so maybe I will still get used to it

$3000 including part - HD screen, CIC and harness adapters, and coding. I took the expensive route and did a proper OEM integration rather than using an emulator. It will all depend on the equipment level on the car. I didn't have to rewire anything because I had USB in the glovebox. Only new connection was the secondary USB port for music backup. I did the install myself and took about 2 hours, and another hour of remote coding.

I bought the CIC unit, screen, cables, USB port, iDrive controller and pre-fitted emulator from an eBay seller in Lithuania. Cost me about $1380 express shipped.

Also had to buy a replacement centre console trim to suit the new iDrive controller. Got that from an online store based in Romania that orders out of Germany and then ships to Australia. That cost me about $485 shipped. However forum member drjekl can help you with this bit.

Did the install myself as well as the coding. Definitely worth it!
