Rare Wheel Sizing Question?!

Hey guys,

Just had a set of wheels come up that i really want as they are very rare here in the UK however i'm not sure if they will fit or what the fitment will be like.

Can someone tell me what trying to mount a wheel-set of this size to my stock EDC M3 will be like:

19 x 8.5J Front
19 x 9.5J Rear
5 x 120
and what worries me is the offset of 42!

I plan on running a 12mm spacer on the rear if this helps so am i right in thinking this will bring the rear offset down to 30?

At the moment i'm thinking i'll get the wheels and find a way to make them fit as i'm never going to get the chance to own another pair like this here.

Thanks!

This wheel sizing is very high offset. While these wheels will fit, they will be positioned very far inside the wheel wells and will not give the car an aggressive stance.

If the offset is 42 all around I would go with a 20mm spacer to get fitment closer to M3 specs. Also yes the TPMS from your stock wheels can swap right over.

Thanks for the replies guys,

I backed out of the sale. In the end the guy admitted they were for E46 fitment really...

If i'm going to drop how much money he wanted i would want them to be the perfect offset

Good choice! There's no reason to buy a set of wheels that has to be spaced to that degree to fit.
