It was interesting to me to see how little it has in common with the series cars

Considering I'll have mine for a long time, I'll be enjoying this beauty for a while. I am really uninterested in the new M3. So what if it gets 25% better mileage and is faster 0-60, the E9x has a V8 that revs to 8,400.

Agreed the S65 endues/provides the E9X ///M3's with a unique character/quality that completely missing from F80/F82 ///M's. I'll admit I'm like the M3/M4, but I am enamored/sprung on the E9X ///M

Another (short one with a great soundtrack, or lack thereof), if you didn't see it in the other thread.

Yet another thread which repeats, again, :

- the E92 M3 has more original parts than the F82 M4
- the E92 sounds better
- the E92 revs higher

I think we all know that by now, and nobody objects that.
No need to keep justifying your (continued) E92 ownership if that is what floats your boat.

Ergo, everything should be stated once and only once or else it approaches delusion and insanity? Gotcha....you have met the internet, yes?

Might end up buying a 2013 next year after people start buying the new one.

There are also plenty of threads where the people talking about the F30/F32 and repeat:

- It's so agressive
- The interior is more luxury
- It has much more torque
- etc.

So what?

Btw. I like the F30/F32, but that's not a reason to not appreciate the predecessor (without accusation that I'm actually just pissed because there's a more modern successor of the E90/E92).

And a pure sound that was not coming in through the speakers. Most likely, better steering feel.

Not really, but I think I've seen the same comments about a hundred times in the last 3 months. I visit bimmerpost at least once a day, hoping to read something new. Sometimes I get frustrated over the same endless debates.
Frustration is now vented thanks to this forum
