Waiting - but not patiently. One of those bad boys will be gracing my desk as soon as they're available.

Yeah that's pretty cool. I think it kinda looks like a garbage can to me. Lol! Also, I'm surprised at how small it is in real life. Technology is getting so crazy now.

I have been checking online at 12:01am most days until I saw that we are probably looking at December 16,17 or 18

These are the days my friends to watch out for.

I'm going after the 12 core,32gb ram, and 1tb PCIe storage

You can't buy this type of speed in a desktop elsewhere.

I'm sticking with my i7 iMac until they offer an updated 4K Cinema Display with the new slimline format of the iMacs. The current thick Cinema Display is totally out of date.

I found it a bit misleading...they state designed and assembled in the USA. The parts come from overseas.

My friend, i am betting they will release the new monitors with the release of this mac pro. The dual GPUs can support 4k and they haven't released a monitor in over 800+ days.

also, the last major mac pro release also had a release of the new 27 inch monitor we see today, away from the 30inch which i still have and love..

THe new iMac 27 is a good alternative to the mac pro if you bump up all the specs right now *but* you can't compete with that PCIe flash storage, that is the ticker right there… by far supersedes the SSD / SATA iMac option.

Assembled in USA means assembled in USA not all parts manufactured in USA (to the other poster)

I've been trying to sell my Mac Pro towers on eBay. No hits. I think everyone is waiting on the new ones.

Garage List
For the price of that Mac, you can build a very powerful PC rig that would blow that out of the water...

Hate it. Mac Pros were always about expandability and function before form. This thing couldn't be farther from it.

I don't think you understand what Mac Pros are about.
