Custom painting (Individual Program?)

Is anybody getting custom painting done on the exterior? I was kind of disappointed with the lack of color choices compared to the E46 M3. Anybody know how much this would cost and if it would be a good idea. I was interested in a blue like a laguna seca blue but I'm not too thrilled about the Interlagos Blue that is available.

Outside the US there are quite a few special order colors or Individual colors that can be ordered at extra cost. The idea of taking a US vehicle and repainting it is not good and will totally kill the resale value. To do it right, getting the engine bay, trunk area and underbody, you really need to strip the car, which is not practical.
