Loose Mirror

My driver side mirror is loose between the 2 circled points in red. Anyone know how I can make it tighter ? or do i have to replace the mirror ?

on your e46, pop the cap off on the interior of the a-pillar and there's a nut there that you can tighten. They loosen over time from people pushing the mirror trying to get it to swing up

unfortunatelly on the e9x, i think that part is pressed on, there is no nut to tighten, only a new mirror will fix it

right now it shakes in the wind while on the highway
