That would be a different thread. I hear the dad will hide in the bushes so when you drop his daughter off he jumps out and slices you with a samurai sword.

That would be one potential outcome. The other is that he pesters you and her about your grades in school.

You can't be 44 and say what you have said.
You go eat in a fine restaurant of your choice and say don't go because it's expensive.

You can also say "Stay away from Ferrari unless you want to drop $3,000 in oil change!"

It is just clearly out of your mean and you usually get what you pay for.

If you think this is expensive, you guys need to visit some Thomas Keller Restaurants.

Only per se and french laundry are at the price though.

Bouchon, Bouchon Bakery, Ad Hoc, Ad Hoc addendum are all cheaper. TFL was by far the hardest reservation I've ever made but memorable. The fried chicken at ad hoc is awesome!!

Unless you're ok with that, in which case to each their own.
+1 doesn't matter how rich you are, it makes you look more flashy than thoughtful, that is unless she is also very well to do.

Well its kinda tacky to sit down and then leave after you see the menu prices. I mean unless she said to, then you have a winner on your hands.

Brushstroke is a fairly well known 1 Michelin star restaurant in Tribeca, both of those factors = $$$. OP's tone is a bit whiny, which is why he's getting flamed. A random restaurant review without the backup details (japanese girl that looks younger than she is/date) would have sufficed better. Unless you're trolling us, then you win.
