Yup it is functional, there is a tube molded with the vents so that air can pass through it. It's very similar to the Challenge, just not as long. So some easy/small DIY might be needed to be done to connect it.

Well that's why its called the challenge lip, because its quite a challenge to drive around and keep the lip in one piece.

Someone needs to make that photoshopped lip with the openings. Looks sick, I have been after something like that for a while now.
