UPDATE - I've added the single 32gb USB update to the first post for those that want a single shot USB loading. Works on 2010+ vehicles and 2009 vehicles with updated iDrive software to support USB loading.

Thanks Dracon! I wasn't expecting the code to arrive as quickly as it did, since I ordered it late in the day! But everything went fine...I think it took longer to download the map to my computer than it took to load into the car.

Thank-you, and sorry, I ended up purchasing my code from someone else, because when I did my update, your thread said you weren't generating codes, and I didn't realize it was temporary. I will likely redownload the single USB version this weekend for my friend (since upgrading with the 3 disk version was a royal pain), and point my friend to your thread to get the FSC from you.

FYI, I was able to load this with a USB 3.0 stick -- just a cheap MicroCenter 32GB one for $17 or whatever.

Download a client like utorrent, go to file > add torrent from URL

Dummy question: I have a 2008 M3 so I need the CCC update and I also need to burn it to a DVD-R disc. Do I need this code people talk about?

Thanks for the quick response and for providing the files Dracon. I downloaded the CCC files, burned the image files to DVD, and then inserted the new disc in the drive in the dash. Everything works and all the new streets that opened up in my neighborhood 2 years ago are now in my nav system.

The maps won't fix on a DVD+/- R. You'll need a dual layer DVD+/- R/RW. I would recommend getting the single 30+ GB file and put it on a single USB drive. You'll save yourself about an hour when updating the maps.

Google torrent client and pick one, you'll find it easier than you think. Good luck.

Agree. You can get a 32GB USB stick for <$20. It will be pretty quick and you don't have to play games with swapping discs.

Also for the CCC I take it if you get a DVD Dual Layer Disc you can burn East and West to 1 disk?

Windows Vista and up can natively burn ISOs, as can Mac OS X.

I have the CIC from 2009 and have downloaded the Premium 2014 maps and put the files on a USB and have the contents of USB1 in the root. However, when I insert the USB nothing happens - there are no prompts to enter an FSC code or anything for that matter. Am I missing something?

EDIT: It was my mistake. The USB was formatted using a Mac and was Journaled and not FAT. I reformatted the USB drive and put the files back on and it's working now. SWEET!
