OS Giken DCT 3.15 Complete Diff

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds

USD 2,800.00

Like new not even broken in yet and this thing puts power down like crazy! It makes you wonder how you lived with the stock lsd.

Most importantly this diff was built by Turner Motorsports that race for a living! This is a no expense spare rebuild on a hand seleted diff and not a junkyard totalled car.

I'm selling my car and parting out the extra goodies I have laying around the shop.

This diff will fit in all E9x M3s and is a bolt in job.

3.15 final ratio from a DCT car

$3000 shipped
NOW $2800

Please let me know if you have any questions and local pick-up is always welcome.

Thx

It's faster to put power down the the wheels and extremely easy to control the rotation of the car (drifts/slides). This makes your exit speed out of corners higher and lowers lap times as a result!

Does it make the 1/4 mile time slower though?

stock ratio is 3.15, so since this is the same no it won't make any extra power and it won't make you any slower off the line either. I would have been more interested if it changed the ratio to something like 3.65 so you get more torque (but lose top speed)

Yeah you won't gain power with this but it will make your car faster than a stock diff, because it uses the HP better!

don't think it'll reduce powertrain loss, but apparently it's great for placing power to the right wheels @ the right time @ the track. Idk, I think the stock one is pretty good lol

I don't understand, you had Turner rework a stock LSD and keep the same ratio?

Turner pimps this hard on their website, it's not a stock lSD they use different more race ready parts. So you're getting a totally new diff. Guess you could sell the old one off to recoup soem costs. I don't undestand why you'd pay so much & keep the same ratio, but to each his own.

Yeah I had to keep the stock ratio for the autox class I ran. Plus this way it doesn't hurt my mpg on the freeway driving to events etc.

Ah fair enough. Yeah I'm thinking of a 3.65, but the rpm increase is way more than I was initially led to believe. Dinan said it was ~200, turner seems to say its something like ~800-1000(i don't remember exactly) which is HUGE and very hard to live with as a daily driver imho. It revs faster too right? I would think it would be too twitchy. maybe your diff is the way to go after all

^Yeah you're right it would be more like 800-1000+ more rpm with the 3.62 final drive and much more twitchy. It would make 1st gear totally useless! Thx, I was hoping you'd come around

And my diff is def the way to go! Lets get this thing sold!
