Windshield Replacement

Hey everyone,

I have a fairly large crack on my driver-side windshield on my e93. Can you recommend any good places in the GTA to get it replaced? Dealership quoted $1300. Speedy had quoted $800 for OEM glass.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I believe insurance covers the cost without affecting your rates (unless this is like the third or greater time you've replaced your windshield)

Should check with your insurance company and if they do cover it I would suggest just doing it at the dealer.

Good luck!

unfortunately they don't cover my deductible which is $1000 so anything cheaper than that would be good to know. Thx for the info anyways.

what dealer did you go to?

most dealers just sub it out anyways but supply the OEM glass to a local guy. If the OEM glass is really a $400 - $600 piece then the only way i can see you getting it done much cheaper is getting non-OEM glass which is probably not a great idea on an M3.

honestly, the risk of having a poor job that results in leaks or wind noise would be enough for me to only go back to the dealer or someone very reputable.
