Clearbra installer for cf front lip & Autologic coding for LCI tail lights in Dallas?

Clearbra:

Any recommendations for an installer in the Dallas area? Been too busy to install an Arkym SE carbon fiber front lip so figured might as well get it protected prior to mounting. Estimated cost?

LCI LED tail lights:

I've been contemplating buying the e92 LCI LED tail lights. I have an FRM2 module & can't justify $400+ for the FRM3 module plus programming cost at the dealership. Was told by Tom @ EAS that any shop with Autologic hardware can program it & shouldn't take more than 20-mins. I contacted Autologic inquiring which shops closes to me (Plano) have their hardware & they provided four shops. Their quotes:

Autobahn - $150
Autowerks - $150
Eurosport - $225
Foreign Auto - $160 - $200

Does anybody know of anywhere else in Dallas that's noticeably less expensive & are reputable? If other places are only $10 - $20 less expensive then it's not worth my time driving to them. If no one has any recommendations then between Autobahn & Autowerks, which shop do you guys recommend?

Thanks!

EDIT: Ended up going to an old buddy (Jason @ JP Euro) who specializes in Euro's also (for the last ~3-years). Took him 10-mins to program/code (aka get rid of the bulb check) & charged me $100. He says he has to charge that much to make up for the software updates (or something along those lines) Autologic charges him since it's costing an arm & a leg each time. Drove it for 20 - 25 miles with 3 different stops with no issues. Can't believe that only took 10-mins & was $100 but overall still happy considering he charges less than the other shops. Customer service was great (no, I'm not biased haha!) & would recommend his shop.

I'm sorry I don't have an answer for you right now but I do hope you'll share the result of your search. It's nice to share information with fellow Dallas enthusiasts.

I'll update this thread once I get additional info and/or cave in & use one of those two shops.

Benvo does it, as well. I had him package it in with some other stuff I had done, so I can't tell you specifically how much he charged for it.

Amazing, as we only charge $95 for the service. This literally takes only 10 minutes for this feature alone.

Unfortunately, we do not code remotely.

Yet another reason why I miss home sweet home (SoCal)! I won't mention which shop but one of them said it'd take 2-hours even AFTER I said the online vendor (Tom @ EAS) I'm planning on buying the tail lights from informed me it'd take 20-mins at most...

Does that price include the cable/harness & module to connect to the car or just the programming aspect of it? Thanks!

I didn't code mine out. The bulb check failure goes away after you cycle the turn signals one time each.

Yeah it does it every time but it seems silly to pay to remov something so harmless.

I'll get it coded out when mike benvo does my tune.

I'd like to get it removed since I'll probably be annoyed seeing the bulb check notification after awhile, LOL!

Austoscope in Dallas said they wouldn't do it when I asked them. Whomever I spoke with said that coding out the bulb check was "unsafe" and put him at a liability...or whatever.

I'd rather eliminate it but thanks for the heads up.

Norm Schilling in Carrollton(http://invisibra.net/) is an exceptional clear bra installer. He is not cheap.

There's a guy on DFW Auto Club that goes by undercover911 that does coding. His email addy is bimmercodingatgmail.com. I'm not sure if he is still around

Besides Autoscope, Lone Star Bavarian in Fort Worth and Spec Motorsports in Mckinney are good independent BMW shops.

+1 norm is awesome. Total professional and his work is flawless, but he is very pricy. I did my m3 with him

Got ahold of Norm. He quoted me, "around $175" so I can live with that especially for a front lip that cost $1200+. Will schedule with him once I have time, hopefully sooner than later.

Completely forgot one of my old buddies from back in the day has a shop with Autologic hardware. He use to speciaize in just Toyota/Lexus (he was a tech at the latter & worked on my FJ in the past) but now he works on Euro's in addition to Toyota/Lexus vehicles. Jason quoted me $100 to program the LCI LED tail lights. Checkout his website:

www.jpeuro.com

Will update this thread once I get one or both done.

Ended up going to an old buddy (Jason @ JP Euro) who specializes in Euro's also (for the last ~3-years). Took him 10-mins to program/code (aka get rid of the bulb check) & charged me $100. He says he has to charge that much to make up for the software updates (or something along those lines) Autologic charges him since it's costing an arm & a leg each time. Drove it for 20 - 25 miles with 3 different stops & no issues. Can't believe that only took 10-mins & was $100 but overall still happy considering he charges less than the other shops. Customer service was great (no, I'm not biased haha!) & would recommend his shop.

FWIW, I emailed undercover911 last week however, I didn't hear back from him.

I saw a post by undercover911 on DFW AC a couple of days ago. He's apparently moved to Houston; so, it's good that you found another source.
