Boston is already up 4-1 in the 2nd..

I didn't expect Colorado to beat Beckett, but it looks like Boston is still swingin a smokin hot bat right now.

Hopefully Colorado can get 1 of the games in Boston, which is all you really need to do in a 7 game series.

If the Red sox win, which Is not for sure still. It wont be a big deal.

Red sox are the new Yankees. All they do is buy their way into the playoffs. I like the team i'm a fan. But i've just been realizing things and I'm not as blindsided and think they are the best and amazing.

Truthfully if there was a salary cap they wouldnt be doing shit. And maybe people would realize Theo Epstein sucks balls.

We did waste alot of money on him, but lets not forget that the Red Sox/MLB can make tons of money off Japan.

You're not a fan. If you were, you'd know that while we may have the second biggest payroll in the league, we have an excellent nucleus of young players that were developed in our highly rated farm system. Dustin Pedroia, Jacoby Ellsbury, Manny Del Carmen, Jon Lester, Kevin Youkilis, are the ones that are on the MLB club right now, but there are many more coming in the next few years.

Yeah, Boston does have a decent farm system, but that's not the reason they've been so good the past few years. Without the huge payroll they are not in the WS, regardless of the contributions by the homegrown talent. Check out the Brewers farm system if you want to see how it's done..

And for the record, I like Boston, but I tend to root for the little guy when I dont have an huge interest in the series.

Jd Drew, Lugo etc. Theo is a douche who just tosses money around because he can. He doesnt judge players and doesnt haggle.

Also Ichiro is amazing that was a great decision to get him over to the states.

The Gagne trade was a bad trade, but giving up Gabbard was not a loss. He was going to be due for arbitration soon, and a possible big payday. Also, he was not regarded as anything more than a potential 5th starter anywhere. No loss there.

But if you were I really see no one saying how they don't buy their way into the playoffs and how they arent becoming very similar to the Yankees.
