Fitting 315/30/18 Falken RT-615k's?

Hey guys! I've seen a few members run these tires on the rears of E9x M3's, but there isn't much information on how to fit them or if they just fit without any alignment/fender mods.

I am getting a deal on the RT-615k's and they're just for my street wheels, I run Hankook R-S3's for my track setup, so I don't want to listen to other tire brand/model suggestions, I know there are better performing tires out there. I just want to know if I should go with 275/35/18 instead of the 315/30/18 because it's the next size down, I just feel like it'll be too stretched; on the other hand, 315/30/18 seems way too wide (I don't want to deal with rubbing). The rims are 18x10.5" ET22 Volk TE-37's. Thanks!

Here are pics of what the 315/30/18's Falken RT-615k's look like on IND's famous SG E92 M3:

They won't fit without fender modifications. The car in the pictures had the metal fenders pulled and repainted. That tire size might be possible stretched on a wider rim with a more conservative offset. 295's on a 10.5 et22 wheel will rub the metal fender. 315's are not going to happen...

Thanks for confirming this. I pretty much knew it couldn't happen without fender mods but I figured I'd ask since there isn't much information on it. I wish the Falkens came in 285, but I guess I'll be going with the 275's.

There is plenty of room with correct offsets, unfortunately 10.5et22 is not going to get it done. Need more like ET27-30

Right on the money. 295s on a 10.5" wheel with +24mm offset will just clear the quarter panel while a 5 mm spacer (=+19mm offset) will rub the lettering off the tire.
