Angry WTF!!!

So I'm washing my car the other day, mind you it's only 5 months old, and right on the rear bumper is a scuff mark and a small indentation at the top of the bumper. I was steaming mad. I have PDC and I don't drive drunk so that means............drum roll............some dickless fuck backed into my beautiful car and took off with no note/word. WTF!!!!!! People are so dense.

I'll try to post pics soon, it's JB and the mark is dark as well so it's tough to notice. And this site always says the pics I'm posting are too large, how can I fix that from pics off my cell (samsung gs4)?? Thanks

Sorry to hear that. I lived in center city, and I was shocked at how it was practically acceptable practice to kiss bumpers while parking. Ridiculous.

I JUST (last month) fixed this sort of indentation, although without the scuff, on the passenger side of my rear bumper, right above the tow hook cover.

Absolutely no clue how it got there, but it certainly wasn't me who did it.

If it makes you feel any better, my 335 was damaged four separate times while parked during the time I owned it. All in the suburbs. Two of the four happened AT THE DEALER.

I think it's just the Philly metro area man. People are true assholes.

I'm *this* close to bringing parking cones with me to work to keep people away from my car in the parking lot.

I lived in New York City for some time. And I always felt sorry for the new cars on the block which were soon to become damaged repeatedly by careless F ers.

I quickly came to the conclusion that it would be best not to own a nice vehicle in densely populated places like NY, PA, NJ, MA, etc.

Is it human nature to screw with another man's property? Yes. If you really want to keep your car show room condition you got to protect it. Move out of the cities, cover it, garage it and choose very careful where you park it on public streets.

Soory to hear about your troubles.

I grew up in NY and I saw the same things you're describing. When I saw that AutoCouture thread all I could think was "noooo, get those beautiful cars FAR away from there, quick!"

IMO it is madness to own/drive a $80k+ car in NYC.

I had this same problem. I downloaded the photo bucket app, uploaded pics to them, and copy/pasted the picture info into the message window on this site. Should hopefully work. There is an updated version of the bimmerpost app too that will allow you to upload pics (not sure if its just an iOS update though)
