These are some of the most beautiful pictures I've personally seen of Germany posted on any forum.

Great tour, great story and badass pictures.

Thanks for sharing!

4 series headlights

Great photos...On the 4 series, are those xenon or the optional LED lights.

Those lights look to me like LED units.

Looks like a great time. Thanks for posting your pictures. They make me jealous because I am a couple of years away from ordering an M4 and doing Euro delivery. Posts like this help me plan my trip out.

Really need to thank David and Rick. I drove A.M. Vantage V12 Manual, X3, M550d, M3. And I visited BMW M GmbH, Grossglockner, Hotel Turken. I also saw the very very beautiful sunset on the top of mountain near Hotel Turken. I really really had a fantastic tour in Germany. Without their help, my tour wouldn't be so perfect.

Thank you again.

In the photo that looks like a toll booth, that's the entrance to the Großglockner Hochalpenstraße.

As my friend David posted, the road I drove is called Grossglockner. You can get more information from http://www.grossglockner.at/en/ If you want to drive a good car there, you might rent a sports car from Sixt or BMW on Demand in Munich.

Actually, I think the BMW M550d is the perfect car for me driving around Germany. It is 3.0L + Tri Turbo. Power is enough and consumption is low.
It also load a lot of luggages. It is cool for my situation.

But for the Grossglockner, it would be definitely the A.M. or M3.

Thank you again for your useful information on renting cars.
