Right now it is just a feeler. We will consider a buy once we have at least 10 confirmed buyers.

Thanks! I got feature coding during the summer group buy and am itching for more now that I have the cable

What is the price if you want to do just Engine Tune + Coding without DCT? I don't have a DCT (6MT), so I don't need the DCT Software. I hope it's a bit cheaper?

Also, how does the EuroMDM compare to the competition package MDM? I'm quite satisfied with the competition package MDM, it's not super obtrusive. But I'm not sure how it would compare to the EuroMDM - maybe I will like it better?

Thanks!

Ack, can't believe I let this one slip by me. If there is a second batch being formed, I'm definitely down for Stage I plus servotronic.

Give Mike a call. He could probably still give you this deal.

Shoot me a PM and we can discuss pricing.

Euro MDM has been by far preferred to most drivers over the US MDM. Trust me, you will like it much better.

I can add you to the tentative list if you'd like. Just let me know.

What about compared to the competition package MDM, which is different than the regular Canadian/(US?) MDM:

Quote:
Modifications have been made to the computer governing the Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) in M Dynamic Mode. It is reworked and renamed to “Dynamic Traction Control” (DTC) which allows for larger angles of slip in heavy cornering. This translates to the rear end sliding out further than would be allowed on a non-ZCP M3 before the DTC kicks in to stop the tail slide. Also, once the DTC does kick in, instead of cutting power to the wheels in order to correct the slide (which is normal for the DSC on stock M3s), the DTC computer instead applies the brakes to individual wheels in order to keep the car from spinning excessively.

The Euro MDM activation and competition package settings are mutually
exclusive. Competition package equipped vehicles will benefit in the
same respect that non competition package vehicles will.

The traction system on cars equipped with competition package is
equally as restrictive as the system on non comp pack vehicles.

Therefore comp and non comp pack cars will realize extremely similar results.

The main difference coding-wise in the competition package is the sport EDC mode is dynamic, as oppossed to fixed as in non-EDC cars. I felt no difference in MDM modes in either version of the car.

Please add me to the list. Definitely interested on a Stage 2 reflash + coding, but for a 6MT. What would be the price for that?
And can I still PM Mike about some technical questions that I have?

I thought they remapped the dynamic stability control on ZCP cars:

"Combined with remapped Electronic Damping Control and Dynamic Stability Control systems, the M3 with Competition Package is the best handling production M car ever built."
