Anyone's headlights flicker slightly when in a torrential downpour?

I've noticed this happen 2x in the last 3-4 months when I have been driving in a HUGE downpour, not your average rain that if I am pulled up behind a car or wall you can see the headlight seemingly almost jumping or slightly flickering. The headlight is ON fully it never actually goes off but it kind of flickers....I wish I had a video to explain this fully. One of the times it happened I pulled into the garage and within 1 second or so the flickering entirely stopped...very strange, and obviously very hard to duplicate.....

Also, I switched the light switch from auto to the next to the right (angel eyes on only) and those are not flickering so I assume it has to do with the headlight itself (Bulb or mechanism?)...

Are you moving when this happens? If you are, the bulb will move or shake if you hit a bump or something on the road. That is normal.

If its only when its raining, you might have some electrical component or wire being exposed to water which is messing with the current, resulting in the flickering your seeing.

like what others have said, you likely have some wiring issue or loose connection or water issue.

If you recently installed angel eye bulbs or something like that, I would recheck the plugs and wires and housing to ensure nothing is loose or leaking.

You're sure it isnt just the water pouring over your headlight lenses? I know it sounds dumb, but I've noticed light deflection under heavy rain as well. Unless its really off and on, then you may have a wiring issue.

Same here pal at first I thought it was flickering as I was out in the rain

Then went parked up in the garage and left lights on to see if they flicker on the wall nothing there ... Guess its the rain drops for me

+1 This seems like the most likely scenario, lots of water on the lens can cause refraction.

Cheers
